After finishing my A levels, I would like to become an au pair in Germany. Although I have never been an au pair before, I have already caught up on this topic extensively. I would still like to know from you what exactly my duties and responsibilities would be.

For most host families, it is important that the au pair assists them with taking care of their children and with household chores while they are at work. According to the basic principle of au pairing, an au pair supports a host family with the daily duties at home. Host families prefer responsible au pairs. Your daily duties may differ from one family to the other according to the life style of the host family. Therefore, it is very important to talk about your exact duties prior to your placement. Hence create a clean relationship.
We wish you a nice stay!
